Passport Call: July 30, 2018, 8.58 A.M.

Visa collection: July 31, 2018, 2.15 P.M.

Visa Interview:

Interview Time: 8.30 A.M.

Reached Embassy: around 8.00 A.M.

Call for interview: 8.40 A.M.

I submitted my documents to the female guard, she then forwarded them to counter no. 05. The VO was a Bangladeshi male in his mid 30s. After checking my documents he called me for interview.

Me: Hello, Good morning

VO: Good morning. So, which university you’re going to?

Me: Otto-Von-Guericke University Magdeburg.

VO: Which Subject and for how many semesters?

Me: Process Safety and Environmental Engineering, 3 semesters

VO: Your undergrad university?

Me: Chittagong University of Engineering and Technology

VO: Which subject?

Me: Petroleum and Mining Engineering.

VO: Okay, you have a blocked account. Who is financing you?

Me: My mother.

VO: What does she do?

Me: She is a housewife.

VO: Have you got offer letter from other university?

Me: Yes sir, from TU Freiberg.

VO: So, what’s your future plan?

Me: I will try to gather some real-life job experience and my ultimate goal is to back in Bangladesh. ( -_- )

VO: Do you have work experience?

Me: Yes sir. I have worked for 8 months. I have the supporting documents regarding job. Do i need to submit them?

VO: Not necessary. Okay, Mr. Shahadat take a seat. I will call you back.

After 30 minutes of waiting he called my name.

VO: Please give 7200 taka.

Me: Given.

VO: Now, please give your fingerprints according to my direction.

ME: Given.

VO: Okay, it will take 6-8 weeks to take a decision about your visa application. We will let you know through call/e-mail.

Me: Okay sir, thank you. Have a good day!

VO: You too 🙂
