VO: So you are from Rajshahi University (Looking at my papers)

ME: I am from Rajshahi University of Engineering and Technology. Commonly known as RUET.

VO: Here you have submitted a “Provisional Certificate” of your Bachelor degree. Where is the main?

ME: We are given the main certificate on the “Convocation” and our convocation has not held yet.

VO: When have you have graduated?

ME: I have graduated last year.

VO: What have you been doing after graduation till now?

ME: Preparing myself for higher education. IELTS, Course Search, Application etc have taken this period.

VO: What is “Digital Image Processing”? (Looking at my mark-sheet of Bachelor)

ME: To process digital images by use of computer algorithms. Like Setting contrast or brightness, cropping etc.

VO: What do you mean by “Algorithm”?

ME: An algorithm is a step by step procedure to solve a problem using computer.

VO: What do you mean by “Digital System”?

ME: This is an electronic system that is built with transistors, logic gates etc and work with an integrated software.

VO: Can you distinguish between a “Digital System” & “Analog System”?

ME: Of course. There are a number of differences. There are no use of software or logic gates in analog systems on which a digital system depends. Moreover analog system uses livers, wheels, motors etc to perform a work which are absent in digital systems.

VO: Do you know what is “Fuzzy System”?

ME: This is a system which analyzes analog input values in terms of logical variables in contrast to digital logic.

VO: To which university you are intending to go?

ME: Darmstadt University of Technology.

VO: Do you know your subject name?

ME: Yes. It is “Distributed Software Systems”.

VO: Do you know about your “Course Module”?

ME: Yes. ……..  (I have described my course module).

VO: So what are you doing now?

ME: I am a Freelance Software Developer.

VO: What type of software are you dealing with?

ME: I mainly work on Desktop Applications. I have developed different management systems.

VO: What tools do you use for development?

ME: I mainly use Visual Studio. I also use MS SQL Server, My SQL, XAMPP etc. Actually a complete development needs a number of tools to be used.

VO: I see. What is your future plan?

ME: After finishing my master degree I will do a job there for a year. Then I will come back to home. I have already a start up named “Hash Informatics” with some of my friends. Currently we are working on different types of “Add-Posting” and some local “Management Software” developments. I have a plan to carry on our organization with latest technologies and in future I have a plan to establish a “Research Center” here, where scientists from home and abroad can do research.

ইন্টারভিউ এর দিন ৮.৫০ এই পৌছে যাই এম্বেসী তে। ইন্টারভিউ ছিল সকাল ৯.৩০ এ। ১৫ মিনিট এর বেশি আগে প্রবেশ করতে দেয়না। তাই বাধ্য হয়ে দাড়িয়ে থাকতে হলো। ঠিক ১৫ মিনিট পূর্বে ঢুকতে দিল। প্রথম রুম এ ফর্মাল চেকিং শেষ করে ভেতরে ঢুকলাম।

এরপর আমাকে আমার ডকুমেন্টস গুলো সাজাতে বলা হলো। কিভাবে সাজাতে হবে তার লিস্ট টা ভেতর এর ওয়েটিং রুম এ ছিল। আমি পেপারস গুলো সাজিয়ে জমা দিয়ে অপেক্ষা করতে থাকলাম। ৩ নং কাউন্টার এ কোনো ইন্টারভিউ নিতে দেখিনি। শুধু ১ এবং ২ নং কাউন্টার এ ইন্টারভিউ হচ্ছিল। আমি অপেক্ষারত থাকা অবস্থায় আরো দুইজন এর সাথে গল্প করতেসিলাম। একজন জব ভিসা, ওপর জন স্টুডেন্ট ভিসা।

কিছুক্ষণ পর আমাকে ২ নং কাউন্টার এ ডাকলো। কাউন্টার এ প্রবেশের পর প্রশ্নোত্তর গুলো পূর্বেই বর্ণনা করেছি। প্রশ্নোত্তর শেষে আমাকে একটা রিসিট দিয়ে টাকা জমা দিয়ে আসতে বলল ভিসা অফিসার। আমি টাকা জমা দিয়ে ফিরে আসলাম। সে রিসিট এর এম্বেসী কপি টা নিল এবং আমাকে একটা কনফার্মেশন প্রিন্ট আউট করে দিল। এবং জানতে চাইল যে ডয়েচ ব্যাঙ্ক কি এম্বেসী তে ব্লকড একাউন্ট এর ক্রেডিট কনফার্মেশন পাঠিয়েছে কি না। আমি বললাম যে আমাকে কনফার্মেশন পাঠিয়েছে এবং সেখানে লিখা ছিল যে তারা এম্বেসী তে কনফার্মেশন পাঠিয়েছে। এরপর বলল যে আমি যেতে পারি। আমি প্রশ্ন করলাম যে কবে নাগাদ ডিসিশন জানা যাবে। সে বলল যে ৬ সপ্তাহ মত লাগতে পারে। এরপর তাকে ধন্যবাদ দিয়ে বের হয়ে আসলাম।

অফ টপিক:

ইন্টারভিউ নিয়ে অনেক নার্ভাস ছিলাম। ভালই প্রিপারেশন নিয়েছিলাম। জার্মানি, আমার স্টেট, আমার শহর, আমার ইউনিভার্সিটি, কোর্স মডিউল, ফিউচার প্লান, শেয়ারকৃত  পূর্বের অভিজ্ঞতা গুলো সহ আরো কত কি। সব ই মোটামুটি স্টাডি করেছিলাম। বাস্তব প্রেক্ষাপট তো আর লিখে বোঝানো সম্ভব না। তারপর ও আমার কাছে ইন্টারভিউ টা খুব ই সাধারণ মনে হয়েছে। Accommodation/ IELTS কোনো কিছু নিয়ে ই পেচায় নি। যদিও সব পেপার ই রেডি ছিল।

আমি লেখক নই। এটা আমার প্রথম লেখা। বড়দের শেয়ারকৃত লেখা গুলো পরে অনেক উপকার হয়েছে। সেই দায়িত্ববোধ থেকেই আমার অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করার প্রয়োজন অনুভব করেছি। সবার প্রতি অনুরোধ থাকলো নিজ নিজ অভিজ্ঞতা শেয়ার করার জন্য।

এবং ভুল-ত্রূটি গুলো এড়িয়ে যাবার অনুরোধ থাকলো সবার কাছে।
