VO: What is your HSC passing year, and what was the result?

VO: Your B.Sc passing year and result?
(told)

VO: Which University are you going to attend in Germany? What is your intended degree?
(TU Munich, Masters in Science)

VO: What is the name of your course?
(MS in Informatics)

এই পর্যায়ে ভিসা অফিসার আমার অ্যাকাডেমিক ট্রান্সক্রিপ্ট হাতে নিলেন, আর শুরু হলো প্রশ্নবাণ…

VO: So you have learned Algorithm in your undergrad course. Can you name a few algorithms?
(Mentioned around 6/7 algorithms)

VO: Okay. Have you read anything like LIFO/FIFO in your undergrad courses?
(Yes, Last in/First Out and First in/First out.)

VO: Can you give me some real life example of this?
(Gave an example with the stack of paper in front of me)

VO: Can you explain the concept of “loop” in programming?
(told about for loop/while loop)

VO: Which one do you think is more efficient?
(answered)

VO: I see you have done your thesis. Can you explain it in simple words? I am not too familiar with these so try to explain it simply.
(Tried to explain my thesis work as simply as possible)

VO: Alright. Thank you for explaining that. So why do you want to return from Germany? Isn’t everything better there? (he said a few more things that I can’t recall regarding this)
(My whole family is here. And my primary purpose is to gain some research experience. My future plans are dependent on returning to the country so trying to stay forever at Germany is a non-option for me)

এইভাবে প্রায় আন্দাজ ১৫-২০ মিনিট পর ইন্টারভিউ শেষ হলো। কম্পিউটার সায়েন্স কিংবা ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং ব্যাকগ্রাউন্ডের স্টুডেন্টদের প্রতি সাজেশ্চানঃ আন্ডারগ্র্যাডের কোর্সগুলা একটু রিভিউ করে ইন্টারভিউ দিতে যাওয়াটাই বুদ্ধিমানের কাজ। নাহলে নাজেহাল হওয়ার সমূহ সম্ভাবনা।
